Food to avoid.
Enrolling into the colon cleansing diet requires you to stop completely on taking certain kind of food. Here is the list of food and habits you should stay away from if you intend to take on the colon cleansing diet.

1.    Coffee or caffeine, and tea.
2.    Fizzy drinks, soft drinks or soda.
3.    Fast food like burgers, fried chicken and pizzas.
4.    Instant noodles or any instant cook food.
5.    Pasteurized milk
6.    Smoking
7.    Alcohol
8.    For Asians especially, try to cut down on the rice intake.

Essential Supplements/ Food

Doing a colon cleanse can be tiring because our body work hard in eliminating as much toxins as possible. Sometimes even needed nutrients do get flushed out with the toxins as well and we should take supplements to return back the nutrients our body needs. In short in a brief list of supplements we can take. The list consists of organic food that is beneficial to our health and is recommended to be taken in our diet.
1.    Probiotic
a.    This supplement is used to return back the good bacterias that our body needs that have been flushed out during colon cleanse. There are other food or supplement intake that can work as probiotic such as yogurt and kefir, which are the well known ones.
2.    Raw Egg Yolks
a.    Egg yolks is highly nutritious. Taking raw egg yolks is a known fact that it is good for our health. However, if you cannot bear the idea of taking the egg yolk on its own, you can drink it by mixing it with juices, RiceMilk or as salad dressing.
3.    Healthy Oils
a.    Sure we heard a lot of negative reviews on oil and everyday, someone is telling us to reduce oil intake. But there is a difference between good oil and bad oil. Oregano Oil, Fish Oil, Wheat Germ, Cod Liver, and Olive Oil are healthy oils that are good for our body to maintain hormone balance, smooth glands and skin.
4.    Kefir and fermented foods.
a.    Like yogurt, kefir is another supplement that is a probiotic that supply our body with good bacterias that were lost during the cleansing.
5.    Yeast Flakes
a.    Yeast Flakes contains Vitamin B, and other minerals. One way to take yeast flakes is by mixing a scoop of it with milk, juices or any healthy liquid as a drink. It can be a substitute for those who dislike taking the raw egg yolk option.
